Now the rally car has gone Ive been looking at stock hatch autograss as a cheap alternative
Front running cars can be had for 1k or less, tyres are cheap and last forever, licence is £45 and the entry fee's are about £12 a meet.
Anyone have any experieance of Autograss wish to pass comment

I could be wrong, but I think that Steve Wag might know some Autograss people up in the dales.
Maybe he knows someone who could offer some advice ?? |

I've actually considered doing the same. Always thought it was pretty fun to watch, as you say - cheap cars, cheap to fix, cheap to run. Racing isn't expensive. I'm actually going to see a 205 in the next couple of days. Seller wants £750 for it.

I have seen the 205 in question I think and cosmetically its tatty but seems alright otherwise though I'd want t for less than £750, is the guys name Nevil and is the car stored just off the A19 near the Windmill Pub ?

That's the one. Waiting for him to get back to me. It is pretty tatty and I'd want it for less than £750 too :)
