It is with great sadness I have to inform you all of the death of club member and competitor Dave Plews.
I am sure you will join me in expressing our deepest sympathy to his family.
Dave was a late starter in motorsport but was ultra competitive in karts and cars, he will be very much missed.

| I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Plews family. Dave was a very enthusiastic and competitive club member, but above all, a great friend. |

I didn't have the privilege of meeting Dave - its a shame because he sounds like he was a genuine enthusiast.
I was wondering whether people think it appropriate for the club to offer to help out if Dave's family wanted to sell his MGB. We all know how hard it is to sell a specialist car and I don't know whether Dave's family share his passion and would know where / how to get a fair price.
I know it's a sensitive subject, just thought it might be worth offering the club's advice if it was needed / wanted ?? |

| That's good news if the car will stay in the family - will be a good tribute to Dave. |
