What defines a classic? Age? Pedigree? Heritage? Sporting credentials?
Is a 205 GTi a classic, what about a Quattro, both out of production for 15+ years but not allowed in classic events........why?

Think it should be a combination of Age and Sporting Credentials e.g.
205 GTi is a classic from the 80s (as is Quattro)
Impezza turbo is a classic from the 90s
