I have even seen a plumber turn up in an Astra Diesel van, empty the back out and win his class, so there are no excuses about needing loads of gear.

Test day at Teesside Monday March 23rd, £50-ish for all day flogging around the circuit, "No cage required" 2 cars max on the circuit at any time, sonds like a perfect oppurtunity to thrash the Vectra Gav.

I am told that helmets are mandatory but you DO NOT need race suits for the test day.

Mystery loss of power in the afternoon runs but posted quick times (for us) in practice. Not a very good day really.

Car ran like a bag of s*** coming home and in true fashion a police car trailed us on the A66, fortunately it must have been shift change and he peeled off to Newport road.

I think the valve timing has jumped a tooth, I really hope it's that simple.
