Autosolo March 29th Seaton.

Bob Clouston says he will run a class for anything as long as there are more than 3 entries per class, so there is potentiall going to be an off road  4x4 class of Land Rovers and fronteras!

Get your entries in, these are cracking events and only £12.50 to enter, no comp licence required.

10.00am start so not too early either.

I have regs if anyone wants them.

Well done to Bob on a debut class win, Stu, Geoff and Sally also contested their first autosolos. It was a good day for Stockton with half of the team taking home a trophy.
club sec

I think we had a car in every class except autest specials which made me wonder if anyone faniced a team challenge autosolo?
slippy

Looks a good day where would me Pug sit in said team ?
club sec

FWD under 14ft production car.......I think.

May have been at the bottom, but he did enter and I think the picture of him churning up the sand was the best of the day, remember there is always next time!

1st rule of motorsport- finish the event.

Gav Taylor

so did the Xsara WRC machinery wipe the floor then?
bob_mck

only a group win
although poor tyres, suspension and the numbness didnt help at all.
Gav Taylor

ONLY a group win??!!

thats the same as sleeping with as swedish blonde and "only" shooting ya load once.

Stand proud man.
bob_mck

haha, better to be modest
there was only three in my class
club sec

And not even competing is like having the said Swedish blonde   on the bed waiting for it only for you to go off in you kex.
Gav Taylor

thats called anti lag
Road Rally Dave

Looks like a good day - can you always get good weather ?
The cortina was a nice touch - nearly as sideways as Skodaman.
Has anyone found a friendly farmer who has an autosolo friendly field ?

Well done on the good club turnout.

John did his bit on Saturday night by winning the Chris Pringle rally with Darkie Lewis and beating the road rally "dream team" of Steve Retchless & Iain Tullie into 2nd place. It's funny how John does well when I am not driving
club sec

RRD I had the same issue, our best finish was a fifth together.
club sec

Anyone got the Gazette?
club sec

APRIL 1ST?

Gav Taylor

did you write that yourself?
bob_mck

awesome
Road Rally Dave

No pressure for next event then Bob  .........

Well done, by the way.
bob_mck

haha

i may have to quit while im on top
club sec

Puts the pressure on G(t )aylor to perform when he finally gets his finger out.
club sec

skodaman

Look at the commitment of that GT6 driver !!! What a powerslide
club sec

Fighting to control an antique on soft suspension, I bet that it would cost about 7 seconds per event like that
skodaman

Looks more like 8 secs to me Jess!!!
club sec

9 to me gorilla.
skodaman

Lose a bit of that kite and you'll gain 20 secs easy !!!
club sec

It's easier to just unbolt bits of car to save weight and tastier too.
CallumCraddy

anybody from stockton going to be taking part in anymore autotests?

i can get you all information on them, dates, times, venues and bob may email me regs if not to whoever he normally emails them too...

just type it down if you would like more inside news...

(not many autosolos going, exept a mini one at town in july and in october at seaton. rest are autotests - but really really fun layouts now!)
joe_the_waiter

Our club members often take part in Autotests.

skodaman

Hi Callum, i'm the driver of the red GT6. I have always said to Bob & Chris that i will take part in the auto solo's but the autotests are no good for the Triumph. I think the auto solo in August may be the weekend of the 24hr kart race, in which case i will be karting.
