Karting 25th Jan 09

Good race today, tricky conditions at first especially as the chicane in front of the grandstand was removed. That first turn in front of the pits was bloody hairy in the early laps - i had never taken that corner at that sort of speed before, let alone in the wet! It was still tricky right to the end of the race as one half of the track was mainly dry and the other still wet. Still, win No 1 for the season on the board and hats of to Warren who drove a brilliant race - 0.22 secs behind  !!!!  roll on 1st March

I was driving it like it was...until I got stuck...those X25XE engines are unbreakable man!

So does this explain the broken spring then??? You weren't just driving along & then a big bang were you! At least when we last karted, Bob Mc put the kart in the brown stuff & owned up !!!
bob_mck

i couldnt really deny it, everyone saw me in the race and there was a couple of pics on the internet

posting is yourself is just daft

Really really enjoyed today's race - taking that first corner flat out in practice gave me a few brown trousers moments...  one time half on the grass, half on the track....

Knew I couldn't keep up with the front two and enjoyed a very clean bumper-to-bumper race with Paul to finish third :)

Modest indeed considering you are leading the championship!
