Karting round 6

Due to circumstances beyond my control the final round of this years kart series will now be on Sunday November 29th and not the 22nd.

Start time and cost remain the same

Where is everyone? After the last race I thought I'd have to beat the entries off with a stick.

Last round of the 2009 season, both class titles still undecided, if you can't race it's always worth watchng.

2010 regs available at this event.

I don't do presents - I'm a right scrooge - especially since had to spend £200 on tyes on Sat  

Unfortunately Helen can't make it up for this one.  I've asked Vicky P and the rest of my 24hr team so will let you know when I have heard back.

I've injured my little finger - not sure if it's broken or just badly bruised - that's flaming dogs for you grrrrrr - anyway my grip is not brilliant atm was thinking yesterday I'd have to pull as it's got no better and its been nearly a week since I did it.  I'm going to try anyway and grit my teeth.

I was feeling sick every time I tried to move it, at least that's stopped now so it could be ok.

I'm hoping it's a) not going to rain and b) not going to snow - it's gone bloomin cold today!!  Best dig out my termal base layers!

No one else from my 24hr team can make it on Sun due to mainly location and the fact that it's nearly xmas - never mind - so shall be billy no mates

Just seen at the weather report, it looked like a dry race all week, now the Beeb have changed it  to something slightly wetter!! should be interesting.

Em, if you take a couple of pain killers before hand, it shouldn't affect your grip on the wheel too much - worth giving it a go, and don't wear gloves that are too tight.

That's my pre-race contribution - good luck to all on Sunday, especially anybody who gets to watch my exhaust pipes................... blob7

no need to bite, Johnny 5 will prove that come rain or long circuit. It will still compute.

Also are you aware that the stig has been likened to a robot??? Just a suggestion

I don't do drugs lol - I suffer in pain - it's called damage limitation lol - good tip about gloves though but my Harry Hall Horse riding gloves are nice and stretchy - oh and super grippy  

Never mind the rain...  wonder what the mist is like - it wasn't great in boro this lunchtime - circuit... what circuit... lol

it was really foggy on the A66 Bowes moor at about 8 am today and also back across the A69 too.

A wet race is best, you learn more about control, less outright speed needed and the best driver isn't always the quickest.

Yeah - we've never had a foggy race (In the SMOG capital of the world),
That would make a change. I bet you could still hear Bob lift though!
I would like to order a dry qualifying session, followed by a 5 minute
downpour at about lap 5, leaving a slowly drying track towards the flag.
That should assist in my quest for title number 5. The odds are stacked
against me though, a total disaster needed in karts 7 & 14!
