Noise Petition (Worth signing)"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to introduce a green paper proposing ways, that, where complaints have been instigated by resident(s) against a long standing activity (for example, church bells, sports facility, local airfield and similar), and where residence has been taken up since the start of that activity (providing there has been no significant increase in activity), a presumption should be made to protect the continuation of that activity and reject such complaint."
The airfield bit is particularly relevnt to those of us involved in rallying and racing doesn't escape either with the problems at Castle Combe, Brands and Rockingham, where NIMBY's moved in and then complained about the noise.

My neighbours may beg to differ
as you will probably know Mart Vectras are fitted with a secondary air pump to aid fuel burn when the engine is cold
Every morning when I drive off to work for about a minute (and with the vec having a straight through) my car literally sounds like it has very agressive anti lag. the same happens when I drive home from work, one of the lasses said I nearly deafened her one night when I drove past her just coming of the throttle. BANG POP BANG BANG
cracking.

is the case a proper gangland murder type affair?
I know you're sworn to secrecy but we're friends here!
Do you get to stare at the accused moving your head forward and squinting your eyes?

Shaking your head tutting, then standing up at appropriate moments shouting "you're goin' down"!

The jury has retired for the day in the Ron Sharples murder trial.
Scott Ross Fullam and Declan Paul Appleby are accused of murdering Mr Sharples, of Charnwood Close, Marske, in an altercation with youths in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The 52-year-old father and grandfather suffered severe head injuries in the incident.
Fullam, of Hawkins Close, Marske, and Appleby, of Cliff Street, Marske, both deny murder at Teesside Crown Court.

Oulare’s were the only fingerprints found on the weapon, and his and Mr Harmer’s blood were found on it.
He said his attacker went to leave but slipped, Oulare hit him once to the back and the blade may have touched him.
He denied causing the neck wound with that knife, and could not explain how else it was caused.
GUILTY!!! without doubt

I'm not sure we should be openly discussing a legal case, The Hoff might get in to bother and the case might get thrown out.
