Major thanks to all who came down in what can only be described as appalling weather (too many of you to mention) and wasn't it good that we could step in an cover the radios.
You all deserve to crack open a tinny, though I suspect Gav might have already done that! |

Congrats on a fine class win Peacock, like the trophy as well. Good effort from wigton. The timing line looked a bit dodgey with all the chuckle brother-esque "to me, to you" pulling and pushing to get the timing beam sorted. with all this experience building up it would seem that the Lindisfarne/Cheviot is the next logical step forward

Perhaps Dave could be the token turbo charged 4wd entry? (I suspect he would have faired quite well out there today). Rumour has it Colin may be out on this one with the GT6, we are gathering pace. |

Helmet, overalls, comp licence and that's pretty much it.
Timing strut- just make one out of a pit of wood or plastic, mine is a piece of number plate. Car can be totally standard (inc seat belt- harness is better of course). |

A message from the Teesside sprint clerk of the course.
Many thanks to your all for standing out in the four seasons of weather we had on Friday. I did seriously consider abandoning the event when we stopped for lunch due to the wind, rain and sleet. Thanks you all for keeping to your posts and allowing the event to be completed. I do hope that you will be able to join us again on May 5th for the next event. Best wishes Graeme |

well luckily it was a lot warmer and dryer than the last sprint at the autodrome although martin was hoping for a bit of rain to hopefully regain his class win which unfortunately he didnt manage on this occasion better look next time | ||
