TMSG quiz

We are looking for potential organisers for the next Quiz.
steaallan

thats good of you to volunteer martin thanks i will be there to compete mind you if u setting questions i might aswell stay at home as i will have no chance of getting them right
Mike Smailes

I'm sure that Martin would agree with me that it would be nice for some "fresh blood" to organise the quiz and set the questions.  Don't forget - you score 5 points in the club championship for organising it.

so who is organizing this event and who is quiz master?
club sec

Mike, Colin and me.
steaallan

its gonna be a tough quiz then and 1 more thing at least it gives everybody else a chance of winnings rather than reigning Quiz Club Champions
club sec

It'll be a proper quiz, pictures and everything.
joe_the_waiter

havent they all been proper, with pictures and everything?
club sec

trying not to scare people with making it sound like mastermind.
joe_the_waiter

well it seems from all acounts that Ste and me replicated mastermind with the difficulty of our questions, everything that follows is surely going to be easier. To be honest.... i don t really know where Ste got the idea of asking how old Postman Pat is...  i still remember the unbelieving murmers when i asked the question..
steaallan

it was to help keep things light hearted
joe_the_waiter

Yes, i thought it would of brought a bit of laughter, but instead.. it brought dissaproving groans.
Never mind Ste, i think that it wasnt so much that our questions were hard... probably more the case that the contestants weren't to our standard of knowlege. And just to head off the impending replies asking why we dont win then...... well, we deliberately get a few wrong...   no one likes a smart arse...  we just find it difficult to judge how many to get wrong....
Gav Taylor

so how old is Postman Pat then?

To be fair if someone knew that then I would find it hard to believe they had any friends to go to a quiz with
steaallan

Pat Clifton is 27 yrs and lives with his wife sara and there son julian who is 4 and of course jess the cat at Forge Cottage in Greendale

hows the quiz coming along lads i still havent received any of the answers i paid u £20 for
club sec

Don't worry £20 bought you round 6 on Postman Pat, though to make sure it doesn't look like a fix I might have to throw in a Fireman Sam question.
club sec

To be fair the quiz is shaping up well, all picture rounds completed and the "decades" format will mean a very even spread of questions so you might need an "oldie" on your team.

Prizes are going to be top notch too, well worth entering.
