Weardale Road Rally

Another road event on soon - Saturday 14th March. Starting at 7pm (nice sociable Tyneside series starting time) from Porter's garage at West Auckland.
We will be competing assuming we have no problems on the Ryemoor this weekend. Anyone else fancy a run ? There is a "begineers" section with easy navigation aswell.
Anyone marshalling ? You should be able to be home in time for plenty of beauty sleep before the Riponian.

That'll be the Weardale, or Durham Dales as it used to be called.
We normally go fairly close to Steve Wag's postcode - think we were virtually in shouting distance when we retired with sheared front control arm last year.
Just checked entry list on BR Forum and Mr Retchless has entered again in his Mk2 RS2. It is worth going along just to see how quick that car (with that particular driver) is !

It is now unlikely that we will be out on the Weardale - we had quite a few problems on the Ryemoor last night & I don't expect that I will get them all fixed before next weekend.
We did manage to finish despite completing one section on our last minute before OTL after various running repairs saw us well out of order  near the back of the field. We got back on schedule in the 2nd half and ended up finishing 15th overall after a missed codeboard dropped us out of the top 10. The codeboard was frustrating as we had taken the correct route around a field entrance, but just didn't see the board which was there.

So it's over to you now Gav ....
