It means that it remains at the top of the forum rather than moving down as the forum shows the thread that has the most recent posts first.

Do you think we should send a PM to all the people who have joined the forum and never posted that they will be removed within 7 days? It seems odd to join a forum but never comment.

no, as they will still visit as guests anyway and it will not help in the long run.
perhaps we should do more to encourage forum members to post by creating topics that would attract more discussion. At the moment, nearly every thread thats started ends up as the same banter and eventually doesnt resemble the original post. I am all for banter, but if every thread goes the same way by the same people about the same jokes.... it will not attract new comments by new members.
Its not just registered forum members not posting.... its S&DMC members not posting either.
One thing that doesnt help the forum, is that 'My Fast Forum' dont provide RSS feeds or similar.

why would want you want RSS feeds from the forum like Dave?

Thought the master plan was to move the forum into the main site eventually anyway?

Its only really Club Sec Me or Slippy who post on here now and has been for some time.

Even threads that are "serious" never get replied to by other members or guests so just fall off the front page.

I'll give you a reality check

If its a rally topic you can bet your bottom dollar people will just go and discuss on the BR forum, where threads for rallies there are always 20+ pages long and packed with posts by actual drivers from here its only the Man hinslef slippy who's a Stage rally man so where will the posts come from?

If they want to marshal on an event (and lets be honest from SDMC thats only really JTW, Ste Allen, bob & the odd occassion me. people just go to the main rally site which has all the info on. Its a 2 second job on google.

Its a sweeping generalisation that just by posting up a few "juicy threads" the forum wont magically start being posted on by 100's of people I'm sorry to say, even if the bread and butter banter is swept aside

i was just responding to Club Secs comment that there are a few registered users that dont post anything. i was just trying to come up with an idea that might get people posting.
I dont imagine that 100's of people will start posting. as for RSS feeds, if MFF used them, we would possibly get more traffic through subscription.

maybe try and understand what i'm saying & responding to before jou jump on me
