is anyone (apart from me) marshalling on this years Wales Rally GB?

If so, what stages are you marshalling?

I am at Resolven, Crychan & Trawscowed. Hopefully it will be a deciding round of the World Rally Championship with Grönholm and Loeb battling for honours.

the way the 2007 season is going it could well boil down to the result of Wales rally gb to decide the 2007 world rally championship if it does I will be there. Havent got my license yet so cant marshal but I know this will be a cracking event to marshall on, of course the best on offer in the UK

Apply now, you will get your licence within a week and there are plenty of events to get upgrades on before Dec.

you won't need an upgrade to marshal on wrgb, just a standard licence is good enough. Gav, if your interested in marshalling on any of the days, let me know and I could poss get you with us if you want

Still worth applying for the licence anyway, beat the rush for '08. Dave knows WRGB will be thankful for all the bodies they can get

I will certainly contemplate the event, however I may be going away at the beginning of December, if not I will be at GB in some capacity.

I'm sure we'll come back with a front cover pic. Ste often gets the crackers... including an awesome video of a car on wrgb 2005 jumping over his camera.

it forecast gales for the rally Dave so dont park under any trees!!

What are your catering arrangements by the way?

I'm always interested in the planning work that goes into a rally trip.

catering is not up to your standards Gavin, you had a full hospitality suite with you on the JCR.
we take camp cooker, breakfast stuff, other tinned food (i.e. bombay potatoes, sausage casserole, etc), lots of snack stuff & we make use of the odd warm meal in a bar. beers for the night & we're done

I did have the guy from M-Sport camping with us for the weekend though so had to come across as "kitted out"... hence the

Generator
Laptop with digital TV reciever / recorder and GPRS modem
Gazebo with mains lighting
BBQ
Twin Gas burner with grill
Log Fire Pit + cache of logs
Patio Table
***insert other unneccessary item here***

what amazed me wasn't the amount of stuff you brought, it was how you got it all in the back of a vectra (or was it a cav? I can't remember)
