Steve - help needed. The bonus question refers to the point in Q5, but there are only 4 questions on Route Card 3. Do you mean the point in Q4 ??

OK - BONUS IS FOR Q4 not 5.
As for extending the deadline....NO extension guys otherwise its unfair on everyone else. If you were on a real rally they would not extend lateness just because you couldnt get to the control.
Pressures on Dave B....sure you can manage it before 12.....

well folks - not a bad try for those who returned!
all correct for each one....
Answers
Q1 - 11
Q2 - t t
Q3 - 4706 4703 there could have been one on 4702 two but the point is awarded anyway... for the first two.
Q4 - 453 060
Q5 (BONUS) - a water tower or grid line was acceptable.
Therefore
RR Dave, Steallen, Joe the waiter all on 6 points for that section.
Thus result so far...
RRDave = 12
Ste Allen = 10 1/2
Joe the Waiter = 10
Sally =3
Keep going guys....section 4 to follow.
Steve

Based on a clock face with 12 at the top....
Starting from the control on the previous section which you all got right...
Proceed via the following approach direction/depart direction from junctions (ALL ROADS)
11/2 8/5 12/9 3/9 2/9 4/8 2/8 2/10
8/4 2/8 1/7 2/8 2/4 10/7 1/10
8/10 4/9 3/7
STOP AT NEXT JUNCTION....
Q 1 What three letters do you cross?
Q 2 How many metres of red road do you use on this section to the nearest 100m ?
Q 3 Add up the spot heights you cross over and give the total ?
Q 4 How many churches of any type within 500 m of the route (as marked on the map)?
Good luck....

For what it's worth, when I got to the tough 2nd half I looked ahead at the "unusual" direction junctions and tried to see which one worked and then fill in the missing junctions.
Also, I think that the first junction on the 2nd line (8/4) should actually be 4/8 - but I might be wrong??
Put some answers in anyway, you never know ...... |
