ok so that section was a bt difficult and I have discovered the map edition could affect you!
you should have finished at 442 1/2 005 1/2 on the A19.....
Q1 - letters crossed = ngl from the word Ingleby.
Q2 - red road used = approx 2000m
Q3 - spot height total = 84 - there was only one
Q4 - Churches = 5 no.

I think it were harder than I thought now I have tried to replot it!!! and I knew where it was going.
Anyway Nil POINNTS as they say!
RR Dave = 1 for you
only one other returnee...mr allen!
so as it stands now
RR Dave maintains the lead at 13
Ste allen = 10 1/2
Joe = 10
Sally 3
NExt section and final one.....
Follow the a19 north to the white road that heads north west in 4401
Then using white roads if you need to...
Cross under an ETL 8 times then via the following spot heights only - 35, 33, 48 then cross under an ETL once more before crosing through three spot heights totalling 162 (2 are the same).
Before arriving at the control at the bend on the old roman road (course of).
DO NOT CROSS THE A19, DO NOT CROSS the B1264, DO NOT GO FURTHER WEST THAN THE A167. You can use the roads!
Q1 - How many times did you cross the railway line?
Q2 - Grid square where you joined the third white road ?
Q3 - Did you go through grid square 4207?
Q4 - How mant telephones did you pass as marked on the map within 50m of the route?

I was just about to ask that question - thought it must have been a typo.
Nice to see we are using plenty of whites on this section. |

Good effort Stevey W I reckon if we give it some exposure in the oily Rag as well as online it should build up a decent entry. Maybe allocate a small bit of the clubs budget towards a prize as well. _________________

A little confused here, i'm sure Ste Allan had told me he had sent his final answers in, yet apparently they not been received. perhaps an appeal looming?
I agree, it should be mentioned in 'the oily rag'. perhaps a mention of final results in forthcoming issue Martin? it helps with gaining interest for next one. _________________ 2007 STOCKTON & DISTRICT MOTOR CLUB CHAMPION |

The idea was great but perhaps running it on the weeks up to the CHR diminished the entry. Yes of course I can put it in the oily rag- who is writing the article? _________________
