Well as Loebs leads in the Monte with Hirvo in second I cannot help but think it'll be the pattern for the season, with the only wild card being the new scooby mid season
a shame that our local wilks doesnt look like being part of it either

only finished 2nd cause everyone else went off. even Loeb had a puncture which lost him tons of time. My opinion is its no better than the old one. Atko proved the old one can still get on the podium if the circumstanses are right. But, if the new one is no better from the box, then i hold no hope. As it developes..... so does everyone else..
Put it into perspective.... when the C4 replaced the Xsara... it was way ahead from the off. _________________ 2007 STOCKTON & DISTRICT MOTOR CLUB CHAMPION |

Think that everyone hopes this is the sign of things to come.
The Loeb steamroller has made it a race for 2nd place usually.
The Fords are reasonably close to Citroen, although Latvala is still a bit too wild ?? If Subaru can be there as well it is just what the WRC needs (along with more Manufacturer interest).
Just my own humble opinion. |

sprints are pants mate, stage rallies are where its at
remeber the buzz of the christmas stages all the razmataz of a rally for a few hundred quid, beats a sprint no danger, more people took pics of your car than at any sprint did they not? _________________

Any form of competition gives a great buzz to those taking part - be it autotest, rally stage, circuit race, whatever.
The main thing is being out there doing your thing.
But I agree that WRC is generally speaking a bit too close to "pants" for my liking, although it is still good to watch in person every so often. |

Told you before stage rallying was a big let down, sprints are absolute maximum attack, not car preservation, that's not to say I won't do any more but they are lower priority.
I actually fancy a bash at racing next! _________________

not so much the funds just a better job. I reckon when I hit 40k I can start to look at forest rallying, I wont waste money on anything else.
Maybe a few tarmac events to start. _________________

Paid it off in 8 months so it wasn't too bad, chopped it around to get lower rates, etc.....
Anyway you and Brownridge should go halves, then you'll see what it's all about!
Even Ste "danger of death" Allen has competed now. _________________
