I was talking to the missus the other day (yep there's a first) about SDMC members and was wondering where they are all from and who is the furthest away (from the Club meeting point)Stockton Bowling Club, Salisbury Terrace, STOCKTON-ON-TEES, TS20 2DS just so we can have a bit of fun and see where everyone comes from
If everyone could just post a message to say where they are based and how many miles as the crow flies if the cant work it out give me postcode in a private message and i will work it out for them
As a starter
I Steve A is a miserable 19.6 miles away

Seen as though I live with the Club Sec, under a mile I suppose (but you wouldn't get me walking it - not the most friendliest of routes unless you wear burberry, shellsuits and are a local of 'The Brown Jug') _________________

There is nothing wrong with the Brown Jug
You just have to be a raging psycho mentalist to drink in there _________________ SMOGSPORT'S OFFICIAL WEB SITE |

Well, as everyone knows, I live in a Frontera that is constantly circumnavigating the earth in search of the best gravel special stage in the world, equiped with all mod cons... like electric lights, wind up windows, wind down seats to sleep on, blow up tyres and even got a radio for listening to 87.5 rally fm.
Distance to the club? no matter where in the world I am... at 8pm on wednesday nights, I just beam straight to that illustrious building that is the headquarters of the UK's Premiere motorsport club... S&DMC. distance doesn't come into it.

Surely this must be me ? Don't know the exact distance, but 90 minutes driving on A1 & A19 should be enough ?
And if you must know, the reason that I moved to Rotherham was not due to my "raging psycho mentalist " incident in The Brown Jug !! |

What does the Club "Articles of association" say about forming satellite groups - namely the South Yorkshire (Rotherham area) branch.
Do we need to vote on who will be the branch Grand Wizard ?
We obviously need to find a branch venue - if we struggle to find somewhere suitable then I could consider hiring out the Nova - you can't get into the back seat, but the 2 seats in the front are reasonably comfortable provided you are not significantly larger (arse-wise) than me & John.

There ought to be a phone box free in Rotherham on a Wet Wednesday night, we could try a web cam!
I think it's fair to say 99% of the clubs members are of larger build than you and John. _________________
