Drive it day is on April 20th and is a national initiative to encourage all those hoarders and polishers (and normal folk) to get their pride and joy out and, well just drive it!

We are planning a route which will be an interesting and also scenic affair which should land us at a pub or cafe for a bit of a chinwag (or whatever).

Who fancies it?

I'll see if I can steal myself a 'mount' on the Pirelli the day before. otherwise, it will be the Fantastic Frontera.  will the route take in a few mud tracks? or perhaps I will run at front as course car.....

Will leave the firepit for rallies Ste mate, will look like a bunch of pikeys having a fire at the side of the road!!

Barby idea is good one but will take a canny bit of time to get going and the like.

Pub gets my vote

Still looking for a route.

I suggest we meet at the club around 10.30 am hit the road for 11, drive for an hour, stop for lunch/ coffee & cake then drive back to the club or a convenient pub perhaps (not the brown jug- none of us are hard enough).

Remember we are talking about getting things like Ned's Herald out here, not everything is a racing car!

The potential list as I see it

Mr & Mrs Club sec  Vauxhall VX220
Skodaman             Triumph GT6
Mike                      BMW 2002
Ned                       Triumph Herald
Dave P                  MGC
Joe                        Frontera/ Quattro (if he gets his arse in to gear)
Gav                      V6 Vectra
Danger of death     Nissan tino
Derek                   Pimped Golf!
Colin S                  F***in' big digger!
Andy F                  Anything made by Ford in the past 50+ years

?????
