all about the image mate, the car sideways has been done to death, instead I've went for the mysterious blue allure of the forest not rallied in for years, then gave the main font a circuit edge to convey the spirit of a rally, i. the stages going round the forest.
A sort of come and get me reach target if you will. Walk through those trees and you'll see the stages, see the new service area. the theme is very much an unveiling of a new era as discussed at the meeting as the way we are going for the rally. I just convey the strategy through the graphics mate.
whats this I hear about you crying off the Pirelli anyway???

Gav - I agree I think specifically for the named organising team as there will be things we dont want prying eyes or non "official" event team /club members seeing - specific log ins I think....
Good idea.
We have many jobs still to be taken...
2 stage commanders
start/finish crews
Safety Officer
Spectator safety officer
Service area coordinator and safety officer.....
etc etc
Things coming together nice...
keep up the good work gav... Send press release to Motorsport News, Autosport etc Pacenote magazine and also ensure that Larry Carter gets one to go in D&S times.
I also think Gordon Dundee champ coordinator should get one.

Think the Flyer looks a bit spooky - but I do scare easily
I will try to come along to help on the day, but I might stay in the car with the doors locked ! |

Glad the effect worked Dave, the idea was to create a somewhat mystical allure for the forest to draw the viewer into what will be a new and unchartered era for rallying in the forest.
One that will attract old and new drivers alike.
almost a sleeping giant awakes if you will. I needed to convey some of this magnitude to portray the historical importance of rallying in the forest and the honour and task in hand SDMC has with the undertaking of running an event in such an beautiful and fit for purpose forest.
God I do spout some sh1t dont I!
sounds good tho..... _________________

first draft of the video promo here
this is version 1; I am currently working version 3 which is a lot more refined and the uploaded version will be a lot more clear than this test version.
even though the version 1 was DVD quality when I produced it (and still is on my master copy), it has still uploaded quite poorly. Dam flash compression!
the embedded promo vids on the TOH website will however be of the highest quality. _________________

Gav
Video looks good ...you need to leave some of the text on for longer to read it...
Also We need to call it ...Teesside Motor Sport Group - in association with Stockton & District Motor Club.
I think we can develop this to take and add more to it each month up to the event..
