After the success and good time at last years Preston hall Fire engine and vehicle rally could I have some commitment for vehicles and personnel for this years show which is on 27th & 28th June this year. We need to make it even better and we also need a new gimmick to draw the punters in, last year we had the prize draw for the place on our 24hr kart team. What can we do this year? If you can commit let me know and any ideas will be greatly received thank you. Pm me any time see u soon

I was wondering if it is worth the effort, I know we need to promote the club but last year we gained diddly squat. The competiton winner hasn't been to the club and I am not sure that apart from Slippy's new car we can put on much of a different display.
Lots to think about and discuss. |

| If it was to run, the karting wouldnt be too much of a problem, it only means certain members away from the stand for two to three hrs maybe. |

| On a similar subject... the Evening with Guy Wilks and friends for this year is earmarked for Fri Oct 30th. The venue is provisionally booked and had to be booked well in advance for us to have the date required. At some point we (club) will discuss everything at a club meeting but hopefully everyone understands why i couldnt wait before making that decision. (date is to fit within this years rally calender) |

In my opinion the point when it should have been discussed at a club meeting was surely before anything was booked - sorry but I don't understand why you couldn't wait or even mention it at last night's club night.

| It's a bit close to the F1000 rally we'll be running at Teesside on December 6th. I hope we have enough resources for both. |

trying to sort the rally forum last year put the CHR 2 months behind and that wasn't til Feb, sorry but you are very wrong.
