...... How much did you pay someone for that story??? .

too much when i though about it the next day son.

tried to get my video link working but monsoon rains up here in Chiang mai cut it off, sorry guys. When will accounts and annual report be available for inspection please?

The train out of Bangkok was pretty eye opening, going through the slums just like a michael palin documentary where people live on the tracks and move all their stalls and stuff when the train comes through.

felt a bit guilty drinking an ice cold beer in an ice cold air con'ed carriage while they were down there in all the diesel fumes and filth and sewerage and rats.

Then the 20 year thai waitress asked me if I wanted another beer and all was forgotten.

Must say Chiamg Mai pace of life is much more chilled, gonna head into the jungle tomorrow and ride some elephants and do some banboo rafting down the jungle rivers with a few hill tribes thrown...most notably these long necked women on burmese border http://www.chiangdao.com/chiangmai/karenlongneck.htm

turns out the only english pub here is owned by a guy from Ingleton so going there tomorrow night after jungle for some sunday dinner and to watch the F1 live, just watched the practice in my room before I came on here and the commentary was by 2 south african guys who were p1ss poor.

tales from the jungle to follow off more a chang

I don't think they have teak flooring in the job centre plus, so you'd best make the most of it.

well back in the UK at last, back to the real world.

Yeah by a strange fate we avoided the plane crash!

I got an "injection of solvency" for the last week of the trip and we were going to fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui as teh flight was only £70, but decided to get the sleeper train and ferry instead as we would have been way over with our baggage weights.

what a decision that turned out to be be, we would have been on that flight

now, where's that number for the dole office.
