We are going to set up a karting evening in January where the guys from Teesside karting come along and do a bit of a presentation and answer questions. Hopefully we can get some tips to run our 24 hour team better!
We'll also present the championship awards and have a few bits of fun such as a quiz and raffle with free drives and other good prizes, for good measure we'll throw in a buffet.
Date is still to be confirmed (probably in the week before round 1) but it would help if you could post if you'd be interested to give us an idea of numbers.
2010 regs are ready and will be online soon or available at the next race.
Happy karting.

Assume "kerting" evening was just a Jasper Carrot impression?
Sound a great idea Martin- are you able to forecast which night of the week it might be on, and is it members only or members + guests? (If only to even up the gender stakes) _________________ Over the hill, and picking up speed...............

Once the date is set I'll let you all know, it looks like it's a goer, reasonable interest already.
Can i reserve my entry for all 6 rounds please! If possible with No 1 on
the kart (Pending Sunday's race)

After much deliberation I've decided to hang up my karting helmet at the end of this year, have been going karting (mainly to Teesside) since I was about 12, and had fun doing it. Now it's time to concentrate on saving money to get a car on track for next year, possibly. My mind's swaying between the 750 Stock Hatch, Ma5da MX5s and Mk1 MR2 Series. No interest in sprinting/rallying, even Rallycross has lost it's appeal.
It's been a good year on the kart track, had some good races with many people, disappointed not to have been quicker in qualifying, which was my main undoing this year, but we can't have it all! Thanks to Martin for organising the events, and to all you lot for (mostly) clean racing.
