I believe both the Higgins bros are now too old for a real chance in the BRC. Wilks just lacks funds at the moment, I am in regular communication with him and he might have something sorted he tells me
Barry Clark is the latest flavour - he's secured 3 WRC rounds with the ford b team. One of which he won through the FST championship last year and he scraped together the rest (tapped his father) to do two more.
He's doing Corsice, Turkey and GB (GB was the one he won a "free go" on)
obviously because of this he will be unable to contest the full 08 BRC and as he is in a WRC for rally GB he will lose the oppurtunity to score in the double counting rally. _________________

Just like Guy Wilks I am lacking funds, otherwise I'd have a crack at top line rallying! _________________

Gav
Interesting....Still think Higgins (Mark) has a good chance - he has the skill, experience and speed....you dont have to be a young gun to make the top.
Look at Carlos, Kankunnen, Phil Collins, Austin Mchale, Bertie Fisher etc etc.....
But maybe it will be someone new for the BRC....
If you know Wilks that well - organise a rally forum and have him as the speaker - got to be good for the club....

on review I actually meant "too old for a real chance in the" WRC not the BRC but I suppose the agenda remains the same.
I can certainly ask the old boy the question. watch this space _________________
