lap 66, 24th & 5 laps down after driver change, Kieth now at reins. Boz reported everyone passing him, but as he only lost 1 place during 45 mins, that will be being lapped. also reported tyres going off a bit.

Quote from Dave Plews after seeing 2 girls timing with a board with no. 4 on "no. 4 ....... I wonder where they are? ....." (incidentally, kart 4 is SD&C )

Well, finished 30th after 2 engine changes & a last hour complete brake assembly change. (after Warren drove his last few laps without brakes and even drove straight through the pit lane unable to stop).

Got home around 2pm and tried to watch the GP but the tiredness got the better of me and I went to bed until 6pm. Aching, bruised and feeling generally like I had done 12 rounds with Tyson I'd still do it again tomorrow if you asked me to.

What a great experience, I am so glad that it all seemed to work out even the drama of the mechanical failures just seemed to add a bit of extra spice.

Got to send out big thanks to Steve for keeping the team on track- literally!

I will add more tonight, but I think I will miss out the one where the engine fails to restart!

I will also try and get some photos out to all competitors too.

why miss out one where engine fails to start? it was all part of the race (and all part of why we finished where we did).

for me it was a fantastic weekend & next year is a year too far away.
